Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were neat and orderly but not as expected from the pictures. The smell of cigarettes lingered, which was unpleasant since I don't smoke. The staff was friendly and helpful, although check-in took a bit longer. The location was convenient for our visit but in need of renovation. The dining options were limited, offering only basic continental breakfast. Overall, it was an average stay with some ups and downs.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, although well-equipped with a microwave and refrigerator that worked great, needed remodeling and had a strange smell. The teddy bear curtains and lamp shades were a bit ridiculous, to be honest. The service was a rollercoaster; some staff members were really nice and courteous, while others were completely rude. The location was decent, needing renovation, but it was close to where we were visiting and cleaned every day. The dining experience was pretty good, with a variety of breakfast options available, and I enjoyed the quiet ambiance. However, a few things needed improvement, such as the lack of plugins on the nightstand. Overall, it was an average stay with some ups and downs.
The hotel rooms are more well-equipped than others, making it a suitable choice for an extended stay. However, they felt a little dirty, had a back door leading to a drive around, smelled unpleasant, were dirty, and had visible mold issues. The service was commendable, with the staff trying to fix up the motel, being very hospitable, attentive, nice, caring, and providing a pleasant stay. The location, though in need of renovation, was convenient for interstate access and close to our intended destinations. The dining experience offered a variety of breakfast options, but could improve by including gluten-free choices and normal coffee cream. The hotel facilities need improvement. Despite this, it was an awesome stay due to outside and inside entry, proximity to attractions, quiet environment, and visibility to the outside. The price was reasonable, adding value. However, the negative aspects include the presence of orange clay powder and burned paper particulate, and issues with the channel button.
The hotel is not ideal, as it is only accessible at the back of the building, offers tiny rooms with old curtains that lack privacy, and the service is below average. Keep driving to the next exit or town and avoid paying online. The noise levels may disrupt your sleep, and the breakfast options are limited to bagels or pastries.
The hotel had some issues in the bathroom, but overall, it was nice considering the price. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The staff was friendly and respectful, even when helping with a key issue. The location was decent, close to attractions in the Kansas City area, but had heating problems. The dining options were limited to basic items, although the Moroccan pancakes stood out.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. The rooms were nothing like the pictures - they smelled terrible, and the sheets seemed unchanged with a ball of tissue under them. The noise level was so high that I almost missed my alarm. The breakfast options included only bagels or pastries, which was underwhelming.
